Miriam Josey is a nationally recognized registered dietitian and a lifestyle expert. She graduated cum laude from Cal State LA in the Bachelor’s program Nutritional Science. Then she completed her dietetic training at the University of Southern California in LA under the program Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity (USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology).
Miriam started her career in the field of public health nutritionists and supervisors in dietetics and food production and service. After working there for a few years, she began gaining expertise in healthy diets for diabetes and weight management. Miriam moved on to private practice and often writes columns about diets within the food, health, and lifestyle portions of local newspapers and online magazines.
In addition to her nutrition expertise, Miriam received a professional chef certificate from ICE’s Culinary Arts program in Los Angeles. She is excited to use her culinary skills to come up with diets for weight loss, develop recipes, and teach clients how to make sustainable changes.
