Beetroot is a vegetable that is famous for its useful properties for the whole world. It contains substances that attract all the harmful substances from the body and lead them naturally. That is, beets can easily be called a sorbent, which cleanses the body.

But is it possible to consume this vegetable for a long time? And is not a dangerous beet diet? According to her supporters, such a diet allows not only to remove all toxins from the body, but at the same time to improve the functioning of the liver, stomach and other internal organs.

Beet diet for weight loss exists in several variations – on 3 days and 7 days. Let's consider each of them in more detail.

Beet diet on 3 days

This diet is designed to cleanse the body after long holidays. It is also useful with such a delicate problem as constipation, which is faced by so many people.

To maintain it, you will need to prepare a special salad according to the following recipe:

  • take raw beets (400 grams), raw carrots (300 grams) and one fresh green apple;
  • grind all these vegetables on a grater and mix with each other;
  • The resulting salad is filled with freshly squeezed lemon juice and vegetable oil (no more than 1 tbsp).

This salad must be prepared in the morning. It will need to be divided into 4-5 equal parts and eat at regular intervals.

Important! The diet has a strong laxative effect, so it is not recommended in the days of maintenance to plan important activities and go away from home.

Beet diet on 7 days

Beet diet on 7 days allows you to get rid of extra 4-6 kg. Its main principle is the use of beets in any form for every meal.

You can simply boil it and eat it, or you can add it to various salads. By the way, the salad described above can also be used in this diet. The main condition – in a day you need to eat a minimum of 0.5 kg of beets.

In addition to it, all other vegetables are allowed to be consumed. But they should in no case be prepared with the use of oil, salt and any spices. They can be simply boiled or baked in the oven. This is already your choice.

Also mandatory is the presence in the diet of dairy and sour-milk products with a minimum fat content. These include:

  • cheeses, with a mass fraction of fat no more than 20%;
  • skim cheese;
  • natural yogurt;
  • milk, with a mass fraction of fat content of not more than 1,5%;
  • 1% yogurt.

Even in the diet must necessarily be animal fats, which are in meat and fish. It should be noted that it is worth choosing dietary varieties of these products and preparing them also follows a "dietary" way. That is, without oil, a lot of spices and salt. Instead, it is very good to use lemon juice. He is able to replace both salt and spices at once.

Cereal cereals can also be included in the diet if you are accustomed to eating them every day. Only here to add sugar, honey, butter is not recommended. Cook them not on milk, but on water, it will reduce the calorie content of these dishes and further accelerate the process of weight loss.

As you can see, the beet diet for a week has a balanced menu, so it can be used without any fear for your body. If at the end you did not achieve the desired results, it should be extended for a few more days.

It is very important to observe the drinking regime. After all, beet diet for weight loss has a powerful laxative effect. And to avoid dehydration, especially in the first few days, water should be drunk in very large quantities.
