Barbell exercises are the most common types of strength training.

The best barbell exercises are considered the most effective for increasing muscle mass, the strength of the arms, legs, and backs and for strength training in the gym as a whole. Basic exercises are equally suitable for both experienced athletes and beginners. The Barbell is a universal sports equipment, which allows you to load almost any muscle group. Practical any movement with the barbell will be basic – be it bench press (where there is a load on all the muscles of the hands), press standing (where there is a load on all the muscles of the hands), squats with rod or even pull rod to the chin or belt (where the load is on all muscles, as well as legs and hands). All these lists of barbell exercises differ in that, not individual muscle groups are involved in the work, but several such groups. And if you are interested in complete isolation, then work with dumbbells or in simulators.

The main advantage of barbell exercises is the ability to effectively and quickly train most of the major muscles.
