We are used to changing our diet, most often, during the fight against excess weight, or with diseases of the digestive system. But few know that in the treatment of osteochondrosis, too, need a diet. Diet for osteochondrosis is appointed, in the first place, in order not to aggravate the course of the disease.

What is the diet for osteochondrosis?

Diet with cervical osteochondrosis

An important aspect of the diet for cervical osteochondrosis is the restriction of salt and sugar in the diet. When preparing all dishes should be a little nedosolit: first taste of unsalted food may not like you, but eventually you will get used, as if it was always. With sugar is easier – it can be replaced with honey (if there is no allergy).

A number of unwanted products include strong tea and coffee. The benefits of vitamins and trace elements in the disease of the spine, we have already said. But many may have a logical question: why change the usual diet, if you can simply take some complex drug with the content of all vitamins. Moreover, now the pharmaceutical network represents a lot of such drugs, and some of them are even recommended for diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

It is certainly possible to do so. But it is necessary to take into account the fact that synthetic vitamins are perceived by our body much worse than natural ones, therefore, the benefits from them are not enough. In addition, without changing diet and lifestyle, we will continue to worsen the condition of the spine: being overweight, salty foods, prepared food, impaired metabolism.

  • oatmeal porridge (100 g) – 65 mg;

In order to compensate for the loss of calcium, you must eat at least two servings of dairy products a day, include legumes in the menu. Morning, start with oatmeal or other porridge (you can add nuts to it), or with egg dishes. Have a snack with fruit, cottage cheese, nuts. For lunch, instead of pasta, you can cook vegetables (stewed, steamed, or in the form of mashed potatoes), and do not forget about salads.

End the day with a glass of yogurt or ryazhenka.

Rice diet for osteochondrosis

One of the most popular diets for osteochondrosis is a rice diet. Of course, it is quite strict, but not less effective. According to those who have already tried this diet, the rice diet helps to rid the body of excess salts and even remove excess kilograms, which is also important in osteochondrosis.

Duration of rice diet for osteochondrosis 42 days.

We take 6 empty jars 0,5 l, number them in order (you can paste stickers), and put on jars on 2 st. l. raw rice. Further, in all the jars we add water and cover with gauze napkins.

Exactly after a day we pour out the water from jar №1. We put the rice in a ladle, pour boiling water and boil it for 5-8 minutes. In rice do not add anything! Cooked rice must be eaten. After such breakfast, you can not eat neither food nor water for 4 hours.

Diet recipes for osteochondrosis

Pseudo-mayonnaise of beans (an excellent substitute for mayonnaise).

We will need: 1 can of beans, 300 ml of refined oil, 1 teaspoon prepared mustard, half a teaspoon of sugar, the same amount of salt, 2 table.. spoons of lemon juice.

From a jar of beans, we drain the water, we grind the beans, add butter, and beat. Then add the remaining ingredients and whip a little more. Mayonnaise is ready.

The diet menu for osteochondrosis should be non-caloric, balanced, with an enriched vitamin and mineral composition. It is advisable to eat food cooked in a double boiler, about 6 times a day and in small portions.

Which products should be included in the menu:

  • dairy products (whole milk and sour-milk products);
  • vegetable dishes, greens. A special emphasis should be paid to cabbage, cucumbers, radish, celery, beets;
  • fruit and berry dishes, including jelly and compotes;
  • vegetable oils;
  • low-fat meat;
  • flooded dishes, cold;
  • dark breads, dry biscuits, muffins;
  • eggs;
  • Nuts, seeds, sesame seed;
  • cereals;
  • seafood (fish, shrimp, sea kale, mussels);
  • still water.

An approximate diet menu for osteochondrosis may look like this:

  • Breakfast. Curd, cheese cake or simply cottage cheese with sour cream and fruit, tea from a dogrose.
  • Snack. A few ripe fruits, or a handful of nut mixture, or a couple of dried fruits.
  • Dinner. Vegetable soup, you can bean or pea, a piece of meat from a steamer, a salad of vegetables, compote.
  • Snack. A cup of curdled milk with a cake or biscuits, or a fruit mix with yoghurt filling.
  • Dinner. Boiled fish fillet with a cereal garnish, or chicken with a tomato cucumber salad, weak tea.

At night, you should definitely drink a glass of yogurt or ryazhenka.
