Ducan's diet. Rotating
The famous Ducane diet consists of four stages: Attack, Rotation, Fastening and Stabilization. The first stage refers to the most stringent. It can be called preparatory. During Attack, the body loses excess fluid, but the real weight loss begins during the Alternation.
Basic principles of alternation
The second phase of the Ducane diet provides for alternation of pure protein and protein-vegetable days. The number of days for rotation can vary from 1: 1 to 5: 5. Each person chooses the rotation schedule at his own discretion. The easiest way is to alternate 1: 1, and the fastest weight loss occurs with the 2 chart: 2 and 3: 3.
The menu at this stage is significantly expanded, so it is easier to keep the diet. However, in spite of quite a lot of freedom, it is necessary to carefully monitor the quantity and composition of products.
Products for the Ducane diet. Rotating
Purely protein days at this stage differ from the Attack phase only in that you can now indulge yourself with new products from the list of allowed. The list of protein products during the alternation remains the same.
In protein-vegetable days, the following foods can be allowed: cucumbers, radish, tomatoes, cabbage, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, pepper, celery, eggplant, spinach, and green beans. In small quantities you can eat carrots and beets. The restriction is associated with a high sugar content in these roots.
Vegetables can be eaten raw, steamed, baked or even fried, but the amount of butter should not exceed one teaspoon per day.
The prohibited products at this stage include:
- any cereals;
- flour products;
- starch products (potatoes, peas, corn, beans, beans, avocados);
- fatty foods.
Admissible products are small additions that can vary the daily menu, but their number should not exceed two additives per day. These include:
- soy yoghurt;
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup;
- corn starch;
- degreased yoghurt with pieces of fruit;
- sausage or ham with a fat content up to 10%;
- cheese with fat content up to 7%;
- Goji berries;
- 1 teaspoon of cocoa.
The Ducan diet for each day also requires the use of 2 tablespoons of bran per day and drink at least 2 liters of water.
The food system developed by Pierre Ducant does not apply to express diets, so you will not be able to lose weight quickly with it. The result is manifested gradually, to achieve the ideal weight will have to be patient.
