As a rule, it is possible to keep only the units after the mono-diet. It is quite another matter when weight reduction occurs gradually. The body adapts to a new lifestyle and weight is then returned in very rare cases. An example of this is the Greek diet, which should be observed not one – two weeks, but several months, until the weight is normalized.

Basic rules of the Greek diet, menu and diet

The Greek diet for weight loss does not have a menu. It can be easily compiled by everyone, the main thing is to get acquainted with the list of products allowed to use, which are divided into 3 groups.

The first group of – these are the foods that are allowed for daily use. These include:

  • cheese;
  • milk with a low percentage of fat content;
  • yogurts;
  • legumes;
  • bread from wholemeal flour;
  • pasta from wholemeal;
  • cereals;
  • Nuts and seeds in small quantities;
  • olive oil, not more than 2 st. l. in a day;
  • all kinds of vegetables and fruits;
  • dry wine, no more than 2 glasses per day.

The second group includes foods that can only be consumed once a week. These include:

The third group – these are the foods that you can pamper yourself 1 once a month. These include meat (poultry, pork, beef, rabbit, etc.).

Those products that are not on the lists should be completely excluded from the diet. To the process of losing weight occurred in an accelerated mode, you must abandon meals after 19: 00 and provide the body with additional physical activity.
