Also pantothenic acid is an active element of coenzyme A, which plays a significant role in the production and use of energy.

Pantothenic acid has a powerful anabolic effect, leads to a rapid increase in total body weight, lowers blood glucose levels, which contributes to the release of growth hormone, increases the synthesis of acetylcholine, which carries out neuromuscular transmission.

With a short intake of pantothenic acid in an amount of 25-200 mg, a significant improvement in athletic form and an increase in athletes' endurance are possible. Also, vitamin B5 can be taken during the period of maximum training loads and during competitions (as an anti-stress drug).
